POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

48 Hour cancellation Policy

1. Pontoon rentals require renters to be 21 years of age or older – no exceptions.

2. Row boat renters must be at least 18 years old – no exceptions.

3. All pontoons have a strict maximum capacity of 10 people or 2000 lbs. Any violation of this policy will result in forfeiture of the $200 deposit.

4. Overnight rates: Sun–Thurs $200 per night; Fri & Sat $250 per night.

5. Dogs are allowed for a $5 per dog cleaning fee.

6. Mac’s Marina reserves the right to refuse service to any customer at its discretion.

7. Rental Hours (subject to change):

   1. Weekday 4-hour: 10:00–2:00 or 2:30–6:30; 8-hour: 10:30–6:30pm

   2. Weekend 4-hour: 8:00–11:45, 12:00–3:45, 4:00–7:45; 8-hour: 9:00–7:00pm

8. No discounts are offered on rentals.

9. Cancellations are accepted with at least 48 hours' Notice, or in the case of severe weather. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

10. No rain checks will be issued once the boat hAS LEFT THE DOCK.

11. Reservations require the following information: full name, phone number, credit card details (including expiration date, security code, and zip code), and total number of passengers. Reservations will not be held without a deposit. Checks are not accepted for deposits.

12. Customers will be charged at the start of the rental day.

13. Upon arrival, customers must present a valid driver’s license and credit card for verification. A $200 security deposit will be charged for potential damage.

14. Before departure, customers will be shown the condition of the boat, including the propeller. A photo may be taken for documentation. Customers will receive instructions on operating the boat, including use of the horn, anchor, life jackets, and navigation system.

15. Upon return, all boats are inspected. Any damage to the propeller, upholstery, or other parts of the boat may result in forfeiture of the deposit. If no damage is found, the $200 deposit will be refunded.

16. Customers may request a specific boat; however, Mac’s Marina reserves the right to assign a different boat if necessary.

$200 Damage Deposit will be charged for each occurrence of:

• Prop Damage.

• Cosmetic Boat Damage.

• Exceeding 10 Person Maximum.

$500 Damage Deposit will be charged for:

• LOWER UNIT LOCKED UP and/or DAMAGED

• NO EXCEPTIONS!

Passengers must remain inside the boat while the boat is in motion.  

No standing outside the fence while the boat is underway.

Children 7 and under MUST always wear a life jacket.

Renter assumes ownership and responsibility for watercraft during the entire duration of rental period.
